Dr. Brennan is a Board Certified General Surgeon.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.  He completed his residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a position that requires devotion to surgical practice and uncompromising adherence to the ethical standards of the College.  This designation means that Dr. Brennan’s education, training, surgical aptitude, professional experience and ethical conduct have passed a thorough evaluation and are consistent with the high standards expected of Fellows by the College. Dr. Brennan is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.  Certification as a Diplomate is voluntary and exhibits a surgeon’s dedication to continuous learning and providing superior care to patients.

Interests

Dr. Brennan’s interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, endoscopy, surgical oncology, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, endocrine surgery, pediatric surgery, colorectal surgery, endovascular surgery and emergency trauma care.  He has a special interest in robotic surgery and has performed over 600 robotic surgeries.
